Elena Yushina accomplished several curatorial projects, incl. a first personal show of Francis Alÿs in St. Petersburg "Beyond the River. Afghan projects" and has been awarded several grants including EUNIC Curatorial Exchange Project 2012 with a curatorial internship at Modern Art Oxford, and The Business of Art program in the frames of program Trans Europe Halles. She was invited as a curatorial assistant of the Manifesta 10 in the Hermitage Museum on the side of Prof. Kasper König. Elena received the German Chancellor Fellowship for tomorrow's leaders supported by Angela Merkel (during her tenure as Chancellor) from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in 2016. Elena was a founder and curator of Aperto Raum, Berlin (Sophie-Gips-Höfe) with the support of Erika Hoffmann in 2017-2021. In 2016-2017 was working at Esther Schipper Gallery in Berlin.

Elena has been a chief editor of the Aperto newspaper. In 2020 she was Head of Publishing department of Qatar Embassy in Moscow and editor in chief of EastEast Paper (Arabic, English); executive editor of the book "To Be With Art" (2021), "NFT" (2021), etc.

Konstantin Manaev

Artistic Director of “Sound of Aperto”

Cellist Konstantin Manaev inspires his audience worldwide and has earned much praise for his concerts in New York, Los Angeles, Moscow, Paris, Berlin, Zurich, Vienna, Milan, St. Petersburg and Tokyo. He made his orchestra debut at the Berlin Philharmonie with Berliner Camerata in 2014. His debut at Tonhalle Zurich with the Luzerner Sinfonieorchester was in 2011. Konstantin Manaevs concert repertoire ranges from early baroque up to modern works. Many composers dedicate him new works: Johanna Doderer (Vienna) , Alexandra Filonenko (Berlin), Aziza Sadikova (Berlin), Helmut Zapf (Berlin), Alexey Sioumak (Moscow) and Gordon Hamilton (Sidney).

Born in Yekaterinburg, Russia, Konstantin Manaev began his studies at the Special- Music-School at the Moscow Conservatory and later at Carl Maria von Weber Conservatory in Dresden at Wolfgang Emanuel Schmidt, and at the Academy of Music in Basel at Ivan Monighetti, who played a large part in promoting his musical individuality and force of interpretation. ​He won more than fifteen international competitions, including Willkomirski cello competition in Poznan, VI. ADAM cello competition in Christchurch (New Zealand), RAHN Kulturfond competition in Zurich, and Young Concert Artists European Audition in Leipzig.
From January 2020 Konstantin Manaev is the new artistic director of the concert series “Fürstenwalder Musikzyklus“ in Brandenburg.

Caspar von Moltke was born in 1995 as a son of a diplomat. Growing up in more than 5 different countries around the world he has come into contact with different cultural traditions and their habits. Graduated from the German School in Washington DC he went on to study Culture, Communication and Management at the Zeppelin University in Friedrichshafen Germany. During his studies he has worked together with the Russian film director and artist Ilya Khrzhanovsky on the monumental film and art project “DAU”, which had its world premiere in Paris 2019. After his graduation from university he has started his work at Aperto Raum in Berlin.
